This is like asking "What should I set my car stereo volume control to?"

You have adjustments because every TV, cables and source are different. The brightness of your room is different, etc. These adjustments need to be made to YOUR TV after you have hooked it up with your cables and equipment.

Pop in a Pixar DVD (Cars, Wall*E, Up, etc.) and go to the video setup menu. There are test patterns and instructions to follow to help you properly set the values.
