Which New TV Should I Get With A PS3?
So I have a Vizio Plasma that just broke(two black and white strips down the middle of screen) and it still works, but i got insurance on it,and they won't be able to fix it. I'll get a refund of what I paid for it, sooooo Should I get the 37 inch Vizio java, OR the 40 inch Sony Bravia KDL-40S5100-both of which i can get at my local Walmart for around $600.00 Is there any other tv that I should think about getting? I want 1080p because the PS3 I'll be getting for christmas is 1080p and for blu ray movies i want the best lol. I can't decide!!!!!! P.S. My aunt and uncle have the 37 inch vizio java and say its better than their 55 inch sony grand wega they have in their entertainment room.

also my bedroom is pretty good size, but the 40 inch might be a little big for it...plus when i go to college i dont want a huge one either...but anyways.........ya either one is nice!!!!
Sony is considerably more reliable and better performing then Vizio! And 40" isn't that much bigger then a 37"!
But go with what you want...everybody has their preferences!
Also...keep in mind that 1080p is only the best if you're sitting the right distance away! If you sit too far from it, it looks no better then 720p. Here is a distance calculator for the different screen resolutions: http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html
For a 40" 1080p TV, you have to be 5ft away(max 7ft). For a 40" 720p TV, you should be 7ft away(max 10ft). Roughly the same for a 37" TV!
