Where can I get a DVD (movie) converter and burner?

I am trying to get a movie on my 16GB Sony mp4 player, the format has to be PSP compatible. I have searched Download.com but none work for me. Any virus free ones? I would prefer it if it was free. I have Windows XP Laptop.
