My Vizio 37' television.?
I have a VIZIO 37" 1080p LCD HDTV and I am trying to connect my laptop to the monitor using an HDMI cable. Problem is it gets to a screen where it says retreving then all the sudden says no signal. Is there an option in the settings that I have to turn on to allow it to read my laptop? What do you think it is?
You have to change the settings on your laptop. It's been a while since I did it, but here's what I remember, hope it helps. Right click on your desktop, click on PROPERTIES then click SETTINGS that'll bring up some settings for your monitor. I'm not 100% if you can do it all there or you might have to click on ADVANCED and then MONITOR. Hope that helps, or atleast gets you going in the right direction.
